One
visit to Northwestern Arizona is all that's needed for travellers to
realize they've found a place filled with amazing natural beauty.
We're
located in the scenic Mojave Desert on the fringe of its boundary with
the Sonoran Desert, so a wide variety of desert plants and wildlife
call the Colorado River Valley home. The Black Mountains to the east
and the Newberry and Dead Mountains to the west offer up the geologic
history of the region in black volcanic rock, white limestone, red sandstone
and a variety of other colors only nature could invent.
Take in the diverse blues of the Colorado River, Lake
Mohave and vast desert sky, along with a touch of green in the desert
landscape of yuccas, chollas and creosote and in the emerald coves and
bays of the lake and river. Now imagine bright yellows, oranges, reds
and purples, painted in wildflowers and sunsets.
Whatever the season, visitors are always amazed
at the array of scenic vistas and byways in the Colorado River Valley.
